What we collect
The booking form asks for your name, email address and phone number, how you would like to be contacted, your dog's name, breed and age, what you would like help with, the service you are interested in, a preferred start date, your city or ZIP code and anything you write in the message box.
If you buy something through the online shop — a digital guide or a training session — the shop asks for the details it needs to process the order: your name, billing details, email address, phone number and what you ordered. If you leave a review on a product, your name, email address and review are stored with it.
Like almost every website, the server keeps ordinary technical records of the requests it receives. For the booking form we also store a one-way scrambled form of the network address it was sent from, which cannot be turned back into an address and exists only to limit abuse of the form.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, arrange and carry out training and boarding, deliver what you buy, and keep the records a business has to keep. We do not sell your information, rent it, or pass it to anyone for their marketing.
Where it goes
A message sent through the booking form is saved in this website's own database and emailed to Mia, so it passes through the company that hosts the website and the company that carries the email.
Payments are handled by the payment provider the shop uses. Your card details go to that provider directly and are not stored on this website.
To draw its pages, this website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts and the insurance seal from Pet Care Insurance (petcareins.com). Like any website you visit, those services receive your device's network address when your browser fetches them.
Cookies
The online shop uses cookies to remember your cart and to make checkout work. WordPress sets a cookie if you log in to the site. This website's design sets no advertising or tracking cookies of its own.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept while they are useful — an enquiry that turns into a booking is kept with the records of that booking. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Ask us to delete what we hold about you and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; there is no charge and no form to fill in — just ask.
Children
This website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
